Realme 8 smartphone has recently been launched in the Indian market. This smartphone is available in three storage models and has an initial price of Rs 14,999. The company had released many teasers before the launch of Realme 8 series, which said that these smartphones will provide users with a great photography experience. Realme 8 has features such as super slim body, powerful processor and powerful battery. But after reading this review, you will be able to decide how well this smartphone fits the company's claims.

Realme 8: Design and Display

I got the Cyber Black color variant of Realme 8 for review. Which is really beautiful and attractive in appearance. The most important thing is that the body of this smartphone is quite slim and it is also light in weight. Its body is 7.99mm slim, while weighing only 177 grams. It comes in the phone quite easily in the hand and you will find it much lighter to hold it in the hand. It can be comfortably pocketed. The rear camera setup is provided in the left corner in the back panel of the phone. This camera setup of square design is present with LED flash. At the same time, the slogan of the ride side company is written 'Dare to leap'. You may have seen a similar design in some phones launched in the last days of Realme, which did not look very special but the 'Dare to Leap' used in Realme 8 does not look strange at all but enhancing the beauty of the phone. This makes the color light and dark according to the light.

Now let's talk about the phone's display, you will get a 6.4-inch Full HD Plus Super Amoled display in it. Its screen resolution is 2400 × 1080 pixels. It comes with Vivid color. Also, its touch sampling rate is 180Hz which gives better touch response during gaming session. Due to the large screen size of the phone, users can enjoy gaming and video. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner that is capable of unlocking the phone fast.

Realme 8: Processor and Camera

Realme 8 uses a powerful Helio G95 Gaming processor that comes with a 2.05GHz high frequency Cortex-A76 CPU and uses the ARM G76 GPU to improve graphics quality. The processor used in the phone will provide you with a truly great gaming experience. During the review, I downloaded and played many games in it. I got great graphics quality, sound and performance. During the gaming, neither the phone was slowed nor did it face any other problem. However, after about 1 hour of gaming, the back panel of the phone was slightly warmed up. Not only this, during the review, I used this phone as a primary phone and used calling, social media, internet, chatting and videos in it. After which I can say that in terms of performance, Realme 8 will not disappoint you.

Now let's talk about the camera of Realme 8 which was already in the discussion before the launch. The company was also releasing teasers about camera features and technology on the day it arrived. The company says that the quad rear camera setup has been used in Realme 8. The primary sensor of the phone is 64MP, while it has an 8MP wide angle sensor, 2MP macro sensor and 2MP mono camera. We used the phone's camera both day and night. After which there was a difference. Photos clicked in daylight and plenty of light came out very well. While the photo result clicked in low light was not very good. Photographs clicked from the phone in portrait mode, HDR mode and close up mode, clicked quite well. By the way, if you are clicking the photo in low light, then try to use the features given in it, which will help in giving better result of the photo. At the same time, it has a 16MP front camera for selfie and video calling. With which we clicked many beautiful selfies and we also got good results.

Realme 8: Battery

Realme 8 has a powerful battery of 5000mAh for power backup which comes with 30W dart charge support. The company claims that the phone's battery can be charged up to 100 percent only 65 minutes. Which is quite true because during the review I charged it from 0 to 100 percent and it took about 70 minutes to charge. Once charged, it lasts for a long time. I used a lot of apps throughout the day in addition to gaming and calling, and by the end of the day it had 10 percent battery left.
